London, turn of the 20th century. Adrian Rookwhistle’s life is about to change, and not for the better. His inheritance isn’t a grand estate or a fortune, but an elephant. And not just any elephant—an alcoholic circus elephant named Rosy.
What begins as a logistical attempt to rehome the massive beast turns into a chaotic road trip across England. While Rosy seizes every opportunity to get drunk, cause mayhem, and destroy property, Adrian is forced to deal with the aftermath.
Based on Gerald Durrell’s novel, this project visualizes an "almost true" story that resonates with us all. Ultimately, Rosy is a metaphor for those "problematic" relatives we are sometimes ashamed of, yet learn—through hard, and often hilarious, lessons—to accept and love exactly as they are.
